Whenever I go back and read my early LJ entries I always feel a weird combo of nostalgia and being weirded out.
I also can't believe I've been living in Fullerton for 3 years. So many things have happened since then, but it feels like barely any time has passed...
I'm looking forward to the future :)

I went to AX this year expecting to be disappointed, but I had a great time! I don't think it can compare to the AXs of the past, but I definitely left looking forward to coming back next year. I had sort of lost my motivation to go to anime cons for a while this year, but just meeting all the people I did this year and seeing all the old friends I hadn't spoke with in forever made me want to go to all the cons I can again :D
Thank you to Joey (Looks like the fabled 2 man combo will be hitting cons again together like the old days), and everyone else that hung out with me (esp. Kammie, Michael, Aya, Cindy and Nat)

So my parents have an old Panasonic pt-51hx40b HD projection TV... made before widescreen TVs became the standard. When we first got it there was like no actual HD shit out, so I'm testing HD settings out for more or less the first time.
When I enable 1080i while watching digital cable HD channels, the aspect ratio gets messed up for some reason, and the image gets streched out at the bottom and top (basically the black bars get removed). I tried 1080i a while back using an xbox360, with the same results.
Does anyone know why it does this, and if there is a way to fix it?

Random post... I'm still alive, and so is Nigel. He went on a vacation to San Diego and enjoyed staying in a big house! I think he was depressed to come home to a small apartment (plus he can't go out anymore).

Nigel had an abscess from a fight and was really sick last night :( Had to take him to the emergency clinic and now we're all poor :( But he seems to be better (just kinda depressed)
